Meet The Instructors

Julie Gentile
Julie taught secondary English and rhetoric in public schools in New York and New Jersey for 9 years. Currently, in her 12th year of teaching, she teaches AP Language and Composition and serves as the English Department Chair at a New Jersey private school.

She earned a B.A. in English and Spanish from The College of Holy Cross and a M.A. in Teaching, specializing in the Teaching of Writing, from Brown University.

Julie has been tutoring for the past four years.

Steve Ciarrocca
Steve has been teaching secondary mathematics for 19 years. Currently, he teaches AP Calculus, Computer Science, and SAT Review at Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights.

He earned a B.S. in Mathematics Education from Villanova University and a M.S. in Pure and Applied Mathematics from Montclair State University.

Steve has been tutoring for the past fifteen years.
